 River Ag, a division of Waterway Ag, was born from humble beginnings on the banks of the mighty Ohio River in Metropolis, Illinois. Mr. Bill Harrison and Mr. Karl Kotter founded the company in 1985. Through its success, staff has been added to further accommodate the needs of customers.
Upon entering retirement in 1999, Mr. Harrison passed the torch to his son Rodger who serves as president of Waterway Ag Inc. Mr. Bill Harrison passed on in 2006. Through Mr. Kotter’s passing in December of 2003 his son Rick now oversees operations of the terminal.
The foundation put in place by these gentlemen and their employees remains strong. Therefore allowing us to continue serving the needs of agriculture today, and for many tomorrows to come.
